Trash bins can be brought outside as early as Thursday evening at 6pm for Friday trash collection by Local Waste Services
As a gentle reminder, after trash collection all trash and/or recycle bins should be removed from the view of the street and abutting properties. Please do not leave trash bins on the side of your home.
For more information on Pataskala trash collection guidelines please click here
In an effort to keep our community beautiful and as a gentle reminder, please do not place any yard signs in the landscaping at the front of the community or down the walking paths
Unfortunately, if they are seen, signage will be removed to keep up the appearance of the front entrances as well as walking paths down Taylor Road
As a friendly reminder, please pick up after your animals. There are receptacles placed around the community with trash bags for dog waste. Please make every effort that if you take a dog waste bag, they are put to good use.
Let's continue to work together as a community to keep our neighborhood clean and beautiful while walking our animals.

Clotheslines: No outside clotheslines shall be permitted, and no clothing, rugs, or other items shall be hung on any railing, fence, or other structure in such a manner as to be visible from any Lot, street, or Common Area.
Clotheslines are not permitted anywhere outdoors — even in backyards.
No clothing or laundry (including towels or rugs) should be hung on fences, railings, or porches if visible from any neighbor's lot, street, or shared/common area.
This is enforceable by the HOA and may result in a violation notice if ignored.
Recently, the City of Pataskala completed a tree replacement project in our neighborhood to replace trees removed from easements over 10 years ago. This city-led initiative was fully funded by the city, ensuring no cost to homeowners or the HOA, and aimed to enhance the greenery and beauty of our community.
City-Managed Effort: The trees are now the property of the City of Pataskala
Preservation of Trees: Trees on city easements should not be removed or damaged to maintain the improved aesthetics
City Regulations: Interfering with city property may result in a nuisance violation

To preserve the appearance, safety, and property values in our neighborhood, the Brooksedge East Homeowners Association enforces the following policy on vehicles with flat tires or signs of inoperability:
HOA Policy (Per Declaration Section 8.6) :
Under Section 8.6 of the Brooksedge East Declaration of Covenants, no junk, inoperable, or unlicensed vehicles may be kept or permitted on any lot or street right-of-way for more than forty-eight (48) hours. This includes vehicles with:
Flat tires
Missing or damaged parts
Expired license plates
Broken windows
Other visible signs of being inoperable
If a flat tire is not repaired or replaced within 48 hours, the vehicle is in violation of the HOA’s governing documents. The homeowner may be issued a notice and may be subject to fines if the matter remains unresolved.
What Does “Inoperable” Mean?
Any vehicle that cannot be legally or safely driven is considered inoperable. A flat tire qualifies as a condition that makes the vehicle inoperable.
Covering a vehicle or parking it in a driveway does not exempt it from this rule. All vehicles visible to the community must be in drivable, presentable condition.
City of Pataskala Enforcement:
In addition to HOA enforcement, the City of Pataskala Property Maintenance Code also prohibits long-term storage of inoperable vehicles, including those with flat tires. If the issue remains unresolved, the city may:
Issue citations
Impose fines
Arrange for towing or removal at the owner's expense

Resident Responsibility:
It is the homeowner’s responsibility to ensure all vehicles on their property or directly in front of it are operable and well-maintained. Taking quick action to address a flat tire helps keep our community clean and compliant.
To preserve the beauty, safety, and natural character of our community, Brooksedge East residents must follow these guidelines before removing or cutting trees on their property:
Policy Overview (Per Section 8.9 of the Declaration):
Homeowners must receive written approval from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) before removing any trees from their property.
This rule applies to trees of any size or location on the lot.
No cutting, trimming, or removal is allowed without this prior approval unless the tree is dead or diseased.
Exception:
Trees that are visibly dead or diseased may be removed without ARC approval, but we recommend notifying the HOA and providing documentation such as:
A photo of the tree’s condition
A note or report from a tree specialist or arborist
How to Request Tree Removal:
Complete the Architectural Review Form:
https://www.brooksedge.net/documents
Submit the form with a clear explanation of:
Which tree(s) you wish to remove
The reason for removal
Whether you plan to replace them with other landscaping
Allow up to 21 days for a written response from the ARC as outlined in our review process.
Failure to Comply:
Unauthorized tree removal may result in a formal violation, fines, or requirements for replanting.
If there are any questions or concerns about any of the information above, please feel free to reach out to The HOA Leadership Board or send an inquiry on the contact page
